The author has written code for over twenty years — and for even longer has been absorbed in the old Chinese arts: the I Ching and the casting of coins, feng shui, the reading of faces and palms. Years of poring over the classics led to a quiet conviction: the ancients’ methods were not riddles but rules — rules of time and space. LINES writes those rules down faithfully as code; every reading is derived by a deterministic engine, never generated at random.
作者写了二十多年代码，也痴迷了更久的中国古老玄学——周易占卜、风水、看相。多年遍览典籍、用心揣摩，渐渐笃定一件事：古人的断法不是谜语，而是一套关于时间与空间的规则。LINES 把这套规则忠实地写成了代码——每一次推演都由确定性的引擎完成，而非随机生成。

LINES is built on five thousand years of Chinese divination classics — the I Ching (64 hexagrams, 384 line texts) as the canon; Huozhulin, Bushi Zhengzong and Zengshan Buyi for the six-line reading; Yuanhai Ziping and Sanming Tonghui for the birth charts; Di Tian Sui for the temperament of the day-master. The cast follows the old way: three coins, shaken six times, one line at a time — six casts make the hexagram.

Before casting, quiet your mind and hold the question in your heart — sincerity is the first rule. At most three readings a day; the old books warn: “the first casting answers; to ask again and again is to treat it lightly, and lightness receives no answer.”

This is a framework for reflection, not a prediction of your future — you remain the one who decides. 18+ only. Your questions and dates are stored only on this device. The chart, the classical signals and the timing are all computed on this device by a rules engine written by the author; the AI-composed section of your report (“the full reading”) sends your question and chart details to our AI provider (DeepSeek) only when it is generated — the text is not kept after delivery and never used for training.

2 · What stays on your device二 · 留在你设备上的内容
Your question, the cast you shook, the four-letter types, birth dates and gender choices are stored only in your own browser’s local storage, so a half-finished reading survives a refresh. We run no account system, no analytics, no advertising trackers, and we do not set tracking cookies.
你的问题、摇出的卦、四字母人格、生辰与性别选择，只保存在你自己浏览器的本地存储中（用于刷新后续填）。本软件没有账号系统、没有统计分析、没有广告追踪器，也不设置追踪 Cookie。
3 · What leaves your device, and when三 · 什么会离开你的设备、何时离开
Only for the AI-composed section of your report (“the full reading”) does the app send the material needed to write it — your question, cast details, types and birth-chart pillars — over HTTPS to our API (api.linesoracle.com), which forwards it to our AI model provider solely to generate that reading. This happens when your report is generated (and if you tap “read it again”), never in the background otherwise. These payloads are not retained by us after your reading is delivered, and are not used to train models.

Purchases are processed by our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy. Your card or wallet details go to them, never to us — we only receive a confirmation that your reading is unlocked. Lemon Squeezy handles payment data under its own privacy policy and collects the tax information the law requires.
